AGI Open 2025

It was an inspiring two days. I never imagined I’d one day meet so many of my design idols right here in my hometown. The talks were rich, generous, and layered—there’s still so much to take in.

The timing felt strangely right. Like many others in the creative field, I’ve been standing at a quiet crossroads, trying to understand where the next decade of my practice should go—what feels true, what I want to deepen, and why I choose to design at all. Somehow, being part of this event offered a small, unexpected nudge. Not a full answer, but a shift—just enough to feel the path ahead a little more clearly.

Across all the presentations, a few themes kept surfacing: Time. Nature. Humanity.
They appeared again and again—not as buzzwords, but as the foundation of work that feels honest and lasting. Design, at its core, cannot remove the human element. Without it, the work becomes mechanical, emotionless. And meaningful work simply takes time; there’s no shortcut around it.

There’s plenty left to reflect on.
But one thing is clear: we walked away with a lot—new perspectives, renewed purpose, and the chance to learn and connect with design legends we’ve admired for years.
