The 2026 Tết gift set for MORICO is inspired by the joyful awakening of spring, a moment when nature and people come alive with celebration. The concept Mùa Reo (Season of Resonance) captures the lively sounds and movements that signal the arrival of a new year—echoing through festive gatherings, traditional performances, and communal celebrations.
Within this vibrant atmosphere, familiar cultural imagery emerges: lion dances, dragon dances, and festive boat races, accompanied by birds gliding across the spring sky. Together they form a joyful procession that celebrates renewal, energy, and hope for the year ahead.
Design Approach
The visual language draws inspiration from the art of Origami, translating its folded structures into a graphic illustration system. Clean folds, structured lines, and geometric forms create a distinctive visual style that feels both contemporary and symbolic.
Illustrations are constructed with graphic planes and line work, forming stylized origami-like figures that evoke movement and festivity. These dimensional motifs are repeated as decorative elements across the packaging, creating a cohesive and recognizable visual identity for the entire gift set.
Visual Language
The packaging palette features navy blue and vermilion red, a combination that balances elegance with festive warmth. Key illustrations are highlighted with foil stamping, adding a refined layer of depth and luxury while emphasizing the sculptural quality of the origami-inspired forms.
Through these folded motifs, the spirit of origami becomes a metaphor for the new year itself—each fold carrying wishes of luck, prosperity, and joy, carefully shaped and passed from giver to receiver.
